Weekly Update (8-28-10)
Attention race fans! There's been an additional race added to the schedule, "50 Lap Sportsman Modified Challenge". It will take place on Sept 25th @ 2pm!
So, you're all probably wondering, "What happened to us on Saturday night?!" What a disappointing night for Motionsick it was. The car wasn't handling right throughout practice and qualifying, but wasn't "broken". Oh no, it decided to wait until hot laps for the heim joint on the panhard bar to break off! It took most of the race to get it replaced, since we didn't have the right heim joint. We were done and ready to go on lap 27 of our 30 laps! So, needless to say, we didn't finish very well! Hopefully better luck next time!
As an FYI to everyone, Monadnock Speedway is continuing their "2 for $20" discounted ticket admission prices throughout the rest of the season.
We would also like to Thank Russ Hersey of HRE for lending us a transmission and a brake caliper. We would be unable to race without the help of generous racers like Russ! We also need to Thank Paul Lafond #47 for lending us a trailer tire to get home! THANK YOU to all the racers and fans for being there!
